Flathead Valley Parkinson's Support Group

A winter storm warning goes into effect at 5 a.m. Wednesday and runs through 11 a.m. Thursday in the Flathead and Mission valleys, Polson and Flathead Lake. Forecasters expect heavy snow and blowing snow, with accumulations between 8 and 14 inches. They say travel will be very difficult to impossible, with areas of blowing and drifting snow expected across northeast portions of the Flathead Valley Wednesday night into Thursday morning. That pretty well puts us in the bullseye.

After this past weekend's bout with dangerous wind and sub-zero temperatures, we don't want to take any more chances. None of us needs to be pushing ourselves to be on the roads in those conditions!
