Annie Cox, Occupational Therapist at Immanuel Living in Kalispell, will be our guest speaker for the afternoon. She has been an OT for 10 years and has lived and worked in Kalispell for the last 7 years. At Immanuel Living she helps people regain their independence and live their lives to the fullest. When Annie's not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
Over the last few years Annie has really enjoyed working with individuals in the Parkinson's community and has earned her certification for LSVT BIG and BIG for life. At our June 19 meeting, she will introduce some adaptive equipment that may be helpful for our members in multiple areas of life. She also will demonstrate some tools that can help make working in the kitchen easier and safer, as well as some devices that can help with getting in and out of the car.
When: Select Wednesdays, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Where: Hampton Inn, Spring Creek Conference Room, 1140 Hwy 2 W, Kalispell
