Speech Therapy
90% of people with Parkinson's experience speech changes. Our speech language pathologists have specialized training in SPEAK OUT! which teaches the process of converting speech from an automatic function to an intentional act. Speech therapy might also include assessment and treatment of swallowing impairment which often occurs with Parkinson's. Our speech language pathologists host a weekly communication and swallowing support group, the Parkinson's Voice Project Loud Crowd, which meets weekly on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 2:00pm at The Springs (Montana Room) 1001 River Lakes Pkwy, Whitefish, Montana
This class is no charge, however, if you would like to attend, please contact Ashley Franz or Laura Pearce at Whitefish Therapy and Rehab at 406-862-9378 or ashleyfranz@whitefishtherapy.com
