Join us to hear how Comfort Keepers in Kalispell is helping folks stay in their own homes and live their best-quality lives, despite the challenges Parkinson's or other conditions may present. This talk at our next Flathead Valley Parkinson's Support Group meeting on Oct. 18 promises to hold some practical, local options for all of us

Melanie and C.D. Twitchell, owners, and Nikki Thomas, administrator and care coordinator for Comfort Keepers in Kalispell, will be talking with us about their mission to elevate the lives of adults and seniors in the Flathead. For more than 20 years, the local franchise of this national organization has been offering companion care, personal care, advanced care, and daily help with nutrition, errands and more. It has become a trusted resource for helping seniors stay in their homes as they age

Melanie has experience in assisted living, in-home health care, hospice, and hospital patient care. Caring for her own grandmother through her journey with Alzheimer's solidified Melanie's desire to help people live their lives to the fullest. She and her husband, C.D., are happy for the opportunity Comfort Keepers offers them to make a difference in the lives of seniors and elevate the quality of life every day.

Nikki's passion for health care started early on, when she helped her grandmother during a battle with kidney failure. Later, she offered in-home health care for five years then transitioned to managing and working in a Columbia Falls assisted living facility. She took on an administrator role for the greater part of 2021, with a focus on hospice, Alzheimer's and dementia care. Nikki embraces the journey with each one.
