This live event has already occurred however, you can still register (below) and you will be notified when the recording is ready to view.

Sponsored by The Davis Phinney Foundation

When it comes to addressing the needs of a Parkinson’s community, we often talk about an urban/rural divide. We believe that the barriers and health disparities that exist for those living in large cities and rural communities are vastly different, but some experts suggest this may not really be the case. On Thursday, February 11, at 1 pm (MST), join us for a webinar on Health Disparities and Parkinson’s: Bridging the Gap Between Urban and Rural as we consider common issues that exist within urban and rural communities alike with a panel of Parkinson’s experts who serve people across the U.S.

Join us as we talk with our panel of experts about:

  • Assumptions and misunderstandings about the communities we serve
  • How data disparities affect our ability to tell certain communities’ stories and receive necessary support and funding
  • What policy makers and other decision makers often miss when it comes to addressing the unique needs of our communities
  • What leaders and Parkinson’s advocates can do TODAY to help address health disparities that exist in their own communities
  • and more

If you’re unable to make it at the scheduled time, register anyway, and we’ll send you a recording as soon as it’s available

      Hi Phil,
Were you able to view the Davis Phinney webinar? They (Davis Phinney) should have sent you a link to view it when you registered.
If not, their webinars are recorded and can be viewed at a later date. Let me know if it worked for you.
