Flathead Valley Parkinson's Support Group

Jenn Prunty, founder and board president of My Glacier Village here in the Flathead, will be our featured speaker for the February 21 Parkinson's Support Group meeting.

Some of you already know how fortunate we are to have My Glacier Village, a member-driven nonprofit addressing the challenges of aging. A team of caring staff and volunteers provide the connections, education and support that seniors need as they age confidently in their own home and on their own terms. Jenn helps people understand that successfully "aging in place" doesn't necessarily mean living in the same home where they raised their kids, or even where they're living now. It means choosing a home where they can be happiest, most confident and independent for the longest period of time.

In her presentation, she will talk with us about aging-ready and aging-friendly homes and how to know if yours is one of them.
