This 45-minute webinar will include radical yet practical solutions promoting intentional independence, ways to reduce caregiver burden, and prevent falls in and around the home. Strategies will be presented to introduce small changes in daily routines to combat occupational interruptions often seen with PD. Presented through the lens of an occupational therapist certified in Aging In Place and CarFit, the webinar will be based on research evidence supporting the added value of Occupational Therapy (OT) in the presence of Parkinson’s Disease.
