Hi Friends,
We’re almost halfway through Parkinson’s Awareness Month! This week, we’re highlighting the work that we do to help educate those affected by PD.
We at APDA truly believe that the more educated you are, the more empowered you become in living with this complex condition. Our website is a wealth of information, which includes over 30 free publications including materials in Spanish and Chinese. We also offer our popular Parkinson Pathfinder magazine, which is locally produced.
In addition, we offer both in-person and virtual education programs and events. These include our in-person Live Well conferences, which focus on wellness and education, and virtual education events like our Dr. Gilbert Hosts and Beyond Medication series.
Finally, this year, we launched a new Parkinson’s Disease Road Show, visiting six Senior Living Communities to raise awareness of PD. If you’d like to see us in your community, please reach out to us HERE. Leah Frazier from APDA NW, at Parkinson’s Road Show, Point Ruston Gencare UPCOMING EVENTS Friday, April 26, 2024Tacoma, WALIVE WELL SOUTH SOUND
